A new look!
Thought I would switch it up a little bit and give the good ol blog a new look. Hope you like!
This weekend has been mostly uneventful and considering how crazy the end of my week was that was exactly how I wanted it. Saturday we woke up early to go to the license bureau, I got my new license and Johnny was due for his registration. By the way, why do the license pics have to be so horrible?
After we took care of that we came home and cleaned for a bit, yes, cleaned I said! Maddie and I cleaned and rearranged her room, she decided that she wanted a "new" room so with rearranging everything that seemed to satisfy her. Johnny worked on the garage, it is become really organized and neat looking I must say!
This morning at about 2 am there was a knock on the door, not just a knock but ringing doorbell repeatedly knocking loud. So, I wrapped up in a blanket and answered the door to find the Reynoldsburg police shining a flashlight at me. WTH? They asked for me and after confirming that I was who they were looking for they showed me a big baggie of stuff and said that my car was unlocked and had been broken into, they wanted to know if I could identify some of the belongings. I was thinking, what are the chances of me getting everything back? So they came in and sent me off to get some britches on so we could talk, LOLOLOL!!! I explained to them that my car wasn't broken into tonight that it was actually a few nights ago. They said that they caught some kid with the baggie of goodies and said he got it from another kid at the skate park. I did get a few things back, my debit card, insurance card and a few credit cards ....and they did have an IPOD but it wasn't mine....bummer!!! I filled out a police report with everything that we noticed was gone, looks like I'm not the only one that got hit up. The police said they can't pin the kid with the actual theft because he said he got it from someone else but he would be charged with possesion of stolen property. What a mess!
I got in another cleaning buzz today this time it was the basement, did some rearranging with Maddie's toys, put all of her stuff at the other end of the basement. I've been busy! I didn't even take a nap! Oh no! Hehe.

TGIF!!!!
The last couple of days have SUCKED! With a stressful situation at work and than my purse being stolen from my car (as it was in the driveway, including my IPOD) I am so glad it is the weekend. God willing nothing will happen to me at work today and I will have 2 days off to veg. I need to go get a new license on saturday but other than that I don't plan on doing anything.
Have a great weekend everyone!

Fun at the Zoo
Maddie and I took advantage of the beautiful weather we have been having and hung out at the zoo one day for a few hours. That is the best thing about having a membership, you don't feel bad about the fact that you go for an hour or so and leave. The minute she asked for a stroller I said it was time to go! LOL.
Pony Ride seems to be a given:
Touch time:
We will be going again at the end of the month with Nanna and Pappa Richmond as long as the weather cooperates!

Wow, its been a bit since I posted anything, hope everyone had a great weekend and all is well!
I got my August TSR kit, yahoo! Fun scraptime ahead with new papers, how exciting!
Last weekend while we were at my Mom's Maddie got her haircut. At first it was just a trim and giving her whispy bangs and than I heard myself say, oh cut it. My mom said "you'll kill me" ah, it's only hair right? If I don't like it or Maddie has a hard time getting used to short hair it will always grow back right? I've been saying for a LONG time that I wanted to see her with short hair, I kept finding a reason not to do it, but now that we have done it, I don't regret it at all! Maddie seems to really enjoy it, she only had flashbacks of long hair one time, the first night she grabbed at her hair and said, "where is all of my hair, I don't want to be a boy!" I reassured her she will never be a boy and that it is a cute sassy haircut for her. She hasn't said anything since, in fact with everyone fussing over how cute it is short she says that she likes it. I've noticed that she doesn't seem distracted by her hair when she is playing anymore and better yet, no more getting yelled at for brushing her hair, what a stressful battle that can be!! When mom was cutting her hair she made the comment it was a little hard because Maddie was wiggling, I told her to close her eyes and be still, next thing we knew she fell asleep!
I'm having a really hard time getting a decent pic of her with her new do, so this will have to do for now:
Meet Mocha, the newest member of our family, my mom's new kiddo!
Isn't she cute!!! Maddie wasn't sure what to think of her, she thought she was cute but doesn't really dig the whole puppy thing, she got upset when Mocha jumped on her, nipped at her, bit at her clothes and took her toys, LOL! Imagine if she had a sibling!
Ahhh, chillin baby!
Enjoy the beautiful weather, lovin having the windows open!
